Desktop Support Technician

Position: Desktop Support Analyst

Starting pay: 14-16 per hr.

Location: Shawnee, OK 74804 / Remote

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Support customers with required work, using customer service skills. Comfortable with providing phone support.

Work with a remote and local team. Solve a broad range of day-to-day onsite/offsite technical issues related to laptop and desktop systems, software, and network infrastructure. Provide superb technical support and customer service to end-users and end clients. Maintain, analyze, and troubleshoot, software, and computer peripherals. Ability to set up, configure and add all hardware. Assure that all trouble tickets that require follow up work and/or calls received appropriate attention. Back-up and restore end-user data. Documents, maintains, upgrades, or replaces hardware and software systems. Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security, and systems groups. Relies on instructions and established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works well without supervision.

Requirements:

Must have Valid Drivers License

2 - 5 years of related desktop and/or desk-side support experience. Solid experience and understanding of IT services and products - including software, hardware, and network troubleshooting skills, Excellent customer service skills. A+ Certification is preferred.

Structured Cabling Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION: The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months work experience in commercial structured cabling, must have experience with installing j-hooks, ladder racks and cable tray and possess the ability to terminate workstation outlets.

Responsibilities of Technicians:

Label, pull and terminate cable, Load and install workstations, laptops and peripherals, Install data equipment including data racks, patch panels, cable trays, etc., Test all installed cable using appropriate testing equipment, Document all information on all cable and equipment, Installation of voice lines to various types of phone equipment

* Maintain a professional appearance and represent employer in a manner that reflects positively on the image and reputation of the company for which he works.

Fiber termination and patch panel experience is a plus.

Qualified Voice & Data Technician must:

* Pass a background check and drug screen
* Possess a reliable vehicle and have a valid driver's license
* Submit professional references to verify work history
* Have basic hand tools

Pay will be based upon experience. Typical range is from $10.00-$18.00 an hour.
